Homecoming 09

Silly sisters.

I love this picture. SO Cute!

She has the best smile.

Beautiful girl and a cute dad too.

Mckenzie went to homecoming this past weekend and as usual it was a very busy day. Ball games, hair dos, pictures and more pictures. I love the pictures but the kids not so much but someday they will thank me for them. I know this next little blurb isnt about homecoming but I just have to share. I just want to say that I am so thankful for my trials because I look around me and see so many things that people are going through and it makes the things that I am going through just seem small. I know they are not small to me but it really puts things into perspective. I know we cant control everyones choices but if we have faith and trust in the Lord, he will take care of us and our needs. I am reminded all the time of the Lords will and time and not mine. I have to say that I really do love my life, its not perfect but thats ok. I just keep moving forward and sometimes its at a really slow pace but its progress. Thats what we all have to keep doing is just progress and move forward. Well anyway Kenze looked beautiful as usual and I love playing dress up with her. Enjoy the pics!

COWBOYS GAME

Sorry ladies he is taken.

This is the locker room where all the "boys" get naked. LOL

Adam, Michael and Andy

This stadium is so big the statue of liberty could fit inside the stadium standing up. Crazy

Me being the very nice wife that I am for Michael's birthday (big michael) this year I got him a trip to see the Dallas Cowboys first home game of the season in their new stadium. Yes I know I am such a nice wife.LOL Anyway he flew out saturday morning with my cousins Andy and Adam and my brother Eric. The went to a Rangers game saturday night, and they went to visit the stadium that night. Michael called me from the stadium and he was just in Awe at hour big it was and and how nice it is. The next day they all went to the stadium early and watched the game later on that night. The cowboys lost but Michael still had fun. The next day they got to tour the stadium, he was so excited like a little kid. He called me and said I'm in the locker room right now and he got to go everywhere in the stadium. All in all it was a fun trip, it would have been better if the boys had won but I guess you can't win them all. Enjoy the pics.

Bonnie Springs

Wow those boys are strong.

The train wasn't working so we just walked the train tracks instead.

Ok so this pic is on twice sorry I can't seem to get it off. Oh well.

They used to all sit in these saddles when they were little and all seven of them fit.

Uh-oh the train is coming look out Annalyse.

Just pretend Aarika is in the picture too.

Fire-Power

Cute kids.

This past labor day I took the kids to Bonnie Springs and to Red Rock for a picnic and hiking. We haven't been out there since Mariyah was a baby so it was a nice time. We used to take our kids out there all the time when they were little and its so fun to go back now and have them say remember when we did this and saw that. Memories and one of the blessings in life and making them with my family, well you can't get any better than that. Michael didn't get to come with us that day and when we were eating lunch Mariyah said "mom do you know what would make this day perfect" and I said "what" she said "if daddy and Aarika were here" it made me a little sad but thats what happens in life kids grow up and move on in their own lives. So families really cherish the time you have together. There aren't any do-overs in life.

Michaels First High School Football Game

Getting to the sidelines.

Tackling.

Pointing at mom and dad. One of the best feelings in the world.

He only got six yards. But hey six yards is six yards and they scored off his interception.

Interception

This is a day my husband has been waiting for a very long time. I have to say I wasn't going to go to this game cause I had to take Mikeala to the orthodontist and I was in a really crappy mood but I went anyway and boy and I glad I did. Michael is playing second string this game and the third play he was in he got an interception and it was awesome. It brought tears to mine and Michaels eyes but shh dont tell him I said that. Mikey was soooo happy one of the head coaches is Mikealas teacher and the next day he said he had never seen a kid so happy. It was seriously awesome, I can't even explain it. Ok everyone the blog is up to date now for the most part. I may have missed a few things but I got the highlights. So have fun checking it all out.

First Day of School

The last elementary kiddos. The lone Jr. High girl.

The high schoolers.

The college student.

So since Aarika has gone away to college I made her take a picture of her first day of school outfit and then I took pics of the rest of the kids on their first day of school. Yeah I am almost caught all up on the ole blog. I love the milestones in my kids lives they are the things that make moms proud. They are all growing up so fast I feel like everytime I blink they just keep growing up and moving on to bigger things in their lives. I am so thankful for the many blessings that I have and the opportunity I have to be the mother of seven awesome kids. Thanks guys for making my life so wonderful and full of blessing after blessing.

Love of my Life!

We went to Flagstaff Arizona again this summer and I have to safe that is one of my favorite places to be. I think it is partly because I love spending time together as a family and partly because I love the mountains and cool weather. We stayed in a cabin this summer and it was lots of fun. Michaels sisters and their families got to come and his parents and we had a really great time. Our friends Sean and Nicole came for a weekend and we just had a fun time. We always look forward to going there and miss it when we have to leave.

DODGERS GAME

Like a little kid.

So excited for the game.

One of my favorite pictures.

Those are some Dodger fans.

Future Dodger player in the middle.

Well our family is pretty into sports as most of you know. Well while I was gone in June on my trip Michael took Aarika, Annalyse and Austen to a dodgers game in California and they had a blast. They even showed the kids on TV and on the screen at the game. All the kids were in awe at how big the stadium was and they had pretty good seats. I love when my kids get to spend quality time with their dad. Annalyse is so into baseball that she has text alerts that are sent to her phone of scores for the dodgers games. Yeah I know what can I say she is a fan. They had lots of fun and they can't wait to go to another one. Go Dodgers.
