Just a little update on the Gonzales Family. Well its a new year and I decided to create a blogspot for our family. Our family is growing to fast for me. Seven kids keep me busy. They are all going in different directions but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Michael is still working for The Freeman Companies as a Rigging Foreman. He is still coaching some of our kids in sports. The kids love it when dad coaches and I get to be the team mom and score keeper. Aarika is a junior in high school this year and still playing softball. She is doing well in school and has all honors classes. Aarika is a great leader in our family and we love her. I can't believe she is already seventeen. McKenzie is a sophomore this year and is in honors classes. She has decided to take up boxing with some of her other siblings, she is soon to be sixteen. Look out boys. Mikeala is in the eighth grade this year and doing well. She is playing softball now. She wants to play soccer and softball when she gets into high school. Another busy kid. She is the cook of the family and helps me out a lot. Michael is still playing football and loves every minute of it. He is in the seventh grade this year and is doing great. Michael is the comedian in the family and keeps us laughing. Annalyse is in the fifth grade now and is doing great. She also just finished playing baseball with boys. She did awesome. She will be playing fast pitch softball in the spring. Austen is in the second grade and is a great student his teacher loves him. He just finished playing his first season of kid pitch baseball and his sister was on the team with him. They had a lot of fun playing together. He will be playing baseball again this spring. Austen is the peacemaker of our family and we love him for that. Mariyah is in kindergarten this year and is in school all day. She is a very good student and she is playing teeball again this spring. She is a social butterfly and always wants to have friends over to play. That just leaves me. I just finished my training to become a doula. For those of you who don't know what that is I attend births and give labor support to mothers. I am very excited about this new endeavor. I am also getting certified as a childbirth educator this year. I have three births coming up and I am very excited. I still in primary at church and I love it. I think the older you get the faster time flies. I have to stop sometimes and just enjoy what the Lord has blessed our family with and there are many many blessings.
